Bring nature and coziness into your outdoor space with our beautiful metal squirrel, a unique garden decoration made of high-quality corten steel. This garden decoration develops a charming rust patina over time, giving any outdoor location – from a balcony to a roof terrace and even a wooded backyard – an atmospheric look.
Our garden decorations are designed to rust, which not only provides a special look, but also offers long-lasting protection against the elements. These metal garden decorations will last for years and adapt beautifully to the changing seasons.
Upon receipt the squirrel are still in their original steely color. The rusting process usually starts after 2-3 weeks, depending on weather conditions. The alternation between wet and dry weather plays a crucial role here and can influence the development of the protective rust layer.
These garden decorations are easy to assemble; with a few taps of the hammer they are quickly and easily attached.
Are you impatient and want to speed up the rusting process? No problem! Simply mix salt with water in a plant sprayer and spray the squirrel wet several times. You will see the first signs of rust within a few days.
This garden decoration is constantly in motion, influenced by light, weather and seasons, so it never gets boring. Perfect as a gift for a special occasion!
