How Do You Install the Makita Battery Button?
Replacing the battery button is relatively simple. For assembly, you need a long Torx T10H bit.
The Makita battery is sealed with four small bolts. Loosen these four bolts with the long Torx T10H bit and carefully open the battery housing. You can then replace the existing battery button with the personalized button.
Afterwards, put the housing back together neatly and tighten the four bolts again.
Note: Open the battery carefully and do not touch the electronics and battery cells unnecessarily. Opening and modifying the battery is done at your own responsibility.
